Posted: Wednesday, April 22, 2026
Carrie R. Daniel-MacDougall, PhD, MPH, of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, reviews peripheral immune profiling data from the DIET trial, which was a phase II study conducted in patients with melanoma receiving immune checkpoint blockade. The study evaluated the effects of a high fiber diet intervention vs healthy control diet on immunotherapy response; in this talk, Dr. Daniel-MacDougall presents findings on secondary objective of the effects of dietary intervention on systemic immunity by arm (AACR Annual Meeting 2026 Abstract 6743).
